I’m the founder and principal consultant of Lasting Costs, a veteran-owned legal nurse consulting firm based in San Diego, California. With over 20 years of clinical nursing experience — from critical care units to combat environments — I specialize in life care planning, medical cost projections, and litigation support that is both precise and patient-centered.

Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a commitment to integrity, expertise, and advocacy. As a Certified Nurse Life Care Planner (LCP-C) and Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC), I help attorneys, insurers, and case managers navigate complex medical cases with clarity and confidence. My work is grounded in real-world clinical experience, having served in roles ranging from ICU nurse to Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) nurse, supporting patients in some of the most challenging environments across the globe.

Before founding Lasting Costs, I spent nearly two decades delivering critical care in hospital settings, leading military medical teams, and supporting patient recovery in both civilian and deployed settings. Whether I was providing ICU care at the VA Medical Center in San Diego or developing critical care transport systems in East Africa, my focus has always been the same: delivering sustainable, patient-centered outcomes.
